Grey Area
Yael Braha · Linsey Gray · Emma Sarver
On view October 14 – November 20 2026
Opening October 14 6-10PM
In Grey Area, three artists reveal what emerges from sustained attention to subjects rooted in nature. For Yael Braha, hand-gathered clays and the Gestalt theory of visual perception inform abstractly patterned vessels. For Linsey Gray, the transient fog and tangled landscapes of Appalachia inspire contemplative charcoal drawings on wood. And for Emma Sarver, observing the slow changes of plants guides her large-scale woodcut printmaking process.
Brought together during the transition into autumn, all three artists collaborate with nature through contrast, texture, and materiality. Their works inhabit the grey area between raw material and polished rendering, transforming subtle natural phenomena into distinct images and objects.
