COHAB will quickly evolve in phases as we transform the entirety of the former Melrose Mill into a creative hub made for and activated by the High Point community and our multi-national residents.
Design studios, and exhibition spaces will be available as early as Spring of 2021.
Here’s an early glimpse of the amenities you’ll enjoy as a COHAB, café, an organic permaculture garden, meeting rooms, maker-spaces, showrooms, event spaces, and obviously more--we’re just getting started!
COHAB is much broader and deeper than a facility. It’s a movement. And we’re a resource. We will support our creative tenants with sales, marketing and logistical support, facilitate beneficial introductions, and particularly for our international help to break down barriers to American production and distribution.
If you’re interested in exhibiting at COHAB, we invite you to contact us to learn more.
COHAB will be a dynamic destination for High Point community members and visitors. You can visit year-round to shop for unique wares, connect with like-minded individuals, rejuvenate in a creative space, immerse in classes, and ultimately ignite new creativity within yourself and your community through the collective spirit of COHAB.

COHAB’s vision is to be the catalyst that sparks the reinvigoration of the High Point, NC product manufacturing industry by creating bridges between our local community and the global design industry.
Housed in the former Melrose Mill in the 5 Points District, COHAB is strategically positioned just 5 minutes from the High Point Market, the largest furnishings industry trade show in the world. While the Market biannually brings more than 75,000 design industry influencers to the region, COHAB will activate and energize High Point 365 days a year and bring jobs and renewed vibrancy to our City by reinvigorating the furniture manufacturing industry.
