COLLIE BUDDZ

SPARK UP TOUR + Lila Iké

Colin Patrick Harper hails from the tiny island of Bermuda. In the music industry, he is known as the reggae artist Collie Buddz. Buddz was born on August 21, 1984 in New Orleans, Louisiana. After graduating from high school, he attended Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL, where he decided to study studio engineering. Upon graduating from the top in his class at Full Sail in 2006, Buddz began looking for work in the recording industry as a performer or producer. One of his first major gigs was working with recording star Shaggy on the single “Mad Mad World” from Shaggy’s new album at the time entitled Intoxication, which was released in 2007. That was the same year Collie released his self-titled debut album with Sony Music with tracks such as ‘Come Around’ and ‘Blind To You’.  The album was a success and well-received by critics. WWE (World Wrestling Enterprises) fans would immediately recognize Buddz’s voice from the entrance theme (“SOS”) for WWE superstar wrestler Kofi Kingston, which was included on the 2008 compilation WWE The Music, Vol. 8. Over the next year, he would continue making guest appearances on the works of many other artists.

Opener – Lila Iké

As one of Jamaica’s most powerful voices right now, who can flow and sing effortlessly in the same breath, Lila Iké is gaining attention at home and abroad with her distinctive delivery, old-school sensibilities and modern-day swagger.

She released her debut 7-track EP The ExPerience in May 2020 to critical acclaim and is prepping for her first full length album.

Following her 2020 EP, Lila has dropped a string of singles touching on real life experiences plaguing her own community. From child molestation on Batty Rider Shorts” (2021) and street justice on the remix of “Thy Will” feat. Skillibeng 2021 to self love on “True Love” (after opening up about her own mental health journey following her bi-polar diagnosis) and crime and gun violence on “Wanted in 2022, these topics carry weight across the globe. She also teamed up with London outfit WSTRN on their song “Never Leave” in 2021.

Her newest single “Dinero” (out Oct 2022) showcases her sonic and vocal range on this hard-hitting dancehall anthem produced by Sean Alaric. Lila flows with bravado and grace, commanding the frenetic energy of Kingston’s streets.

The singer is managed by In.Digg.Nation Collective, company of GRAMMY-nominated reggae star Protoje praised for shaping a new sound out of Jamaica (NYLON, Uproxx). As part of In.Digg.Nation Collective, Lila signed with RCA Records in Spring 2020 and is expected to drop her debut album this year.
